The Times I Want War

there are times i want war
they are times of anger
and furious miscalculation
when my breaths are gasps
grasping to control
the things surrounding me
things that confuse me
things i don't understand
when i'm haunted
by the work of my hands
my enemies are persuing me
with relentless hatred
and piercing accusations
that fester and bloom with ignorance
the blindness seeks to destroy us
and crashes on top of all of us
strangled by its merciless arms
of unfailing blackness
crushed by the overwhelming weight
of hidden lives crammed in corners
built for slaves
secured to kill us all
and blindly i see it
and blindly all i want is war
